  1. Product Categories and Warranty

We offer various categories of cricket bats and accessories. Warranty and returns differ depending on the product category:

Workshop Bats (Pro Grade, Grade One, Grade Two, Grade Three):

These high-quality English Willow bats come with a 1-year warranty for reasonable repairs. If the wood has a genuine fault, we will attempt to repair it. Warranty claims will be reviewed, and we reserve the right to refuse repairs if there are signs of mistreatment (e.g., improper use or storage, use of inappropriate balls, or failure to follow care instructions).

Second Hand, Discounted Kits and Clearance Items:

Items in this section, including "Workshop Seconds" and clearance stock, are sold as-is with no warranty or returns. These products may have slight imperfections, but we will try to be as accurate in the description of each individual product. Buyers should review product images and descriptions carefully before purchase.

  1. Returns and Repairs

Warranty claims for eligible products must be made within 1 year of purchase, with proof of purchase required. A delivery note is supplied with every product and we recommend this is kept as the proof of purchase.

We will assess all returned items for repair eligibility. Items mistreated or used inappropriately will not be repaired.

No returns or refunds are available for discounted or clearance products. 

If a discounted or clearance item is returned to us without prior permission from Salix we are not obligated to return payment for the product or delivery fee. 

  1. Shipping and Delivery

We offer UK and overseas delivery. Delivery times may vary depending on location. Any customs fees or import taxes are the buyer's responsibility.

  1. International Orders

For international customers, shipping times and fees will vary. You may be responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or customs fees upon delivery.

  1. Payment

All transactions on the website are secure. We accept multiple payment methods, including major credit cards and online payment platforms. Payment must be received before products are shipped.

  1. Product Descriptions and Accuracy

We strive for accurate product descriptions and images. For discounted or clearance items, specific imperfections or cosmetic details will be disclosed as accurately as possible. Due to the nature of the product any failure to mention any imperfections or damages dose not warrant a refund, any and all cases will be reviewed on an individual basis between Salix and the customer.

  1. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for damage caused to products through improper use, including but not limited to failure to maintain or store equipment correctly.

  1. Use of the Website

By using this website, you agree not to misuse it in any way, including attempts to commit fraud, interfere with the security of the site, or harm the site’s functionality.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content, including images, text, logos, and designs, is owned by SAPWOOD Workshop or licensed to us. Unauthorized use of this content is strictly prohibited.

All purchases are final. Items in the discounted or clearance section are sold with no returns or refunds. All other categories with warranties can be returned or repaired according to the details mentioned above.

  1. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

  1. Amendments to the Terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this website.
