Workshop Bats: Premium Quality, Full Transparency

We are proud to introduce our range of Workshop Bats, available in Pro grade, grades 1,2 and 3. These bats, while maintaining the high standards you expect from Salix and ACID, are shown individually on the website pre-finished, allowing you to make an informed selection based on the grain, structure, and profile of the blade. By giving you the opportunity to see the wood itself before the finishing touches are applied, we offer a unique level of transparency in the bat-buying process. Whether you’re after the perfect grain and high-performance of a Grade 1 or the competitively priced Grade 3, our Workshop Bats give you the power to choose.

Workshop Seconds

There are always a small number of clefts each week that need minor repairs work due to drying cones, and small splits. Historically, we’ve only ever sold these bats direct from the workshop, attracting customers who knew they could still get an excellent bat at a great price. Now, for the first time, we are offering these Workshop Seconds online. You’ll be able to view detailed images of each individual bat, ensuring full transparency, just as if you were walking into our workshop. 

Global Transparency and Honesty

As we launch the SAPWOOD Workshop globally, we’re maintaining the same level of honesty and transparency that has always been at the core of our business. Each bat will be displayed with detailed images, allowing you to see the wood before making your choice. The weights of each individual bat will be clearly shown and excellent "pickup" is second nature to us.
